My latest Creations
I am so sorry for lack of content on this blog I have been battling sickness on and off for the last 2 months and today was diagnosed with Bronchitis with bronchial spasms and an acute sinus infection. I am hoping this is the last of it as our weather starts to even out for spring and my goal is to havew new inspiration up at minimum 2x a week.
Today I am just posting pics I will get better at posted what supplies were used as I get better in health. Please bear with me and enjoy.
The first few photos are my first attempt at a kleenex box cover using Greenhouse Gala DSP, So Safron and Certainly Celery CS and Certainly Celery Ribbon, as well as Gold Smootch Spritz and The Adornments from the Occasions Mini. I also embellished using the Fun Flowers Die and the Big Shot along with a Soft Subtles Celery Button.
This next car is using the New Strength and Hope set. I used Silver Metallic CS and Subtles DSP stack for the Fun Flowers Die flower for the Big Shot. I also used the Top Note Die. I will elaborate more later.
This card was fun once again using the Fun Flowers Die and the Bog Shot and some pop cans. I am loving this new Die can you tell?? I also added a shimmer brad and some celery ribbon.
The last photos are another new technique I learned, making paper roses with the 2 step owl punch and the scalloped circle punch. Are they not the cutest. These were made with Real Red CS and Cherry Cobbler Ribbon to add some depth to the petals. Fun and Easy Peasy.

UPDATED Weekend Fun
I got the opportunity to go cropping yesterday but used my time for a swap for an upcoming team meeting and to make a special something for someone I am seeing for lunch today that is giving me a new die to play with in my Bigshot
So here they are, the card I am going to be adding a punced heart to it out of pink polka dotted paper I will show a new pic for the after this is the before
I used Valentine Defined from the new Occasions Mini and Crumb Cake ink
Before I added the diecut heart
I picked up some fun photo cubes at Christmas time from Target dollar spot and decided to deck out one in Valentine design so I used the Love Impressions Rubons from the Occasion Mini as well, there are 3 blank sides as well for picture room that are just inked and matted

SIzzix Class Projects
I had the pleasure of taking 2 classes taught by a sizzix rep and let me tell you I was impressed, here are the projects I made the first was a valentine card class and the 2nd was a Valentine/Winter Scrapbook class.
These are not made with SU product but could easily be adapted to do so.
We first learned about Twinkling H20's and let me tell you I am hooked and will be getting every color. We made this adorable Valentine treat using paper flowers a blow pop and Twinking H20's and floral tape
The next card was so FUN we used a diet coke can to embellish this card with the Sizzix Big Shot How fun and goes right along with my Reclaimed Art love it love it love it
The next card was fun but my least favorite not enough pizazz and I am sure I will be adding to it some , I did add Twinkling H20's to the heart on the stamped image
This was a free for all kit and I received an extra entry into a raffle for my design using all the included elements,I did not win the raffle but it was fun trying. We embossed the black with the embossing folders and the Big Shot
Then we moved onto Scrapbook 12 x12 Layouts lots of Sizzix elements here both diecuts and embossing
This one was fun as we did some tearing, inking and painting. We embossed the black paper that is behind the music paper(which is from a music dictionary) and then dry brushed white paint over the embossed images HOW FUN
Next we got to experiment with the Movers and Shapers dies and do another free for all page and I made this fun little WISH element the scalloped element on the right side was made using the Big Shot Pro let me tell you I am in love with that Machine. I embossed shimmer CS behind the striped paper and ties metallic stretchy ribbon around some CS to add a little Bling

I really enjoyed taking these classes it renewed my creativity and got me excited about paper crafting and after the 2 classes I attended an 8 hr crop and got a ton done after I put some finishing touches on my projects I will post pictures later on. Off to clean up the classroom so I can get back to creating more fun projects to share.
